See the basic definition of a diagnostic error. This will help you to clarify the main causes of the fault code. You will understand the program of the control unit
Basic DTC analysis according to OBD2 protocol standard.

OBD2 or On-Board Diagnostics displays messages for basic group styles. More comprehensible code composition has been standard since 2000. The DTC code consists of five characters and its composition will be shown in this video

Insight into programming

The basic unit for the operation of any computer is the bit. Logic 0 and 1 are expressed by a single bit. Diagnostics The error code is composed of 16 bits. The first two bits define one of the four basic circuits. The video will show you a comprehensive overview of the composition of the error report

Basic error definition

Heated Oxygen Sensor (Front) No Activity Detected

Cause of DTC

More than 120 seconds have passed since the engine starting sequence was completed. Engine coolant temperature is higher than 0°C (32°F). Engine speed is higher than 1,188 r min. Volumetric efficiency is higher than 30 percent. Throttle position sensor output voltage is lower than 3.0 volts or 3.8 volts . Except while fuel is being shut off. The heated oxygen sensor (front) output voltage does not get across lean rich criteria (about 0.5 volt) within about 30 seconds. NOTE: When the heated oxygen sensor (front) begins to deteriorate, the heated oxygen sensor output voltage will deviate from the voltage when the sensor was new (normally 0.5 volt at stoichiometric ratio). This deviation will be corrected by the heated oxygen sensor (rear). If the heated oxygen sensor (rear) responds poorly because it has deteriorated, it will improperly correct the heated oxygen sensor (front). Thus, even when closed loop control is being effected, the fluctuation of the heated oxygen sensor (front) output voltage decreases, without intersecting with 0.5 volt. < cvt>< m>
