APP Sensor A B or 1 2 (Throttle Position (TP) Sensor D E) Incorrect Voltage Correlation (Includes Hybrid Models)
Description
With the ignition ON (II) one of these conditions must be met for at least 300 milliseconds: (1) APP sensor B voltage exceeds the range from 0 V or less to 0.37 V or more when the APP sensor A voltage is 0.37 V. (2) APP sensor B voltage exceeds the range from 2.31 V or less to 2.69 V or more when the APP sensor A voltage is 5 V. The execution time is continuous and DTCs P2122, P2123, P2127, P2128 are not active. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the APP sensor and the PCM Short circuit between PCM (APSA line) and (APSB line) Faulty accelerator pedal module PCM needs to be updated with the latest software Faulty PCM
