A T Park Neutral Switch Stuck in Park Position or In Gear
Description
Key on or engine running (while not in Limp-In mode), gear selector in Park, Neutral or Drive position, and the PCM detected an invalid P N position switch state for a given mode of vehicle operation.
Cause and Solution
P N switch signal circuit is open between the switch and PCMP N switch signal circuit is shorted to Sensor or chassis groundP N switch ground circuit is open (at the switch mounting point)P N switch is stuck in P N position, or stuck in Drive positionP N switch is damaged or has failedPCM has failed
