Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction
Description
Key on or engine running; and the PCM detected the ECT sensor that indicated less than -40 to -67ºF, or the ECT sensor indicated a value from 240ºF to 262ºF, condition met for 500 ms.
Cause and Solution
ECT sensor circuit is open, shorted to ground or to VREFECT sensor is damaged or has failed (out of calibration)PCM has failed
