Description
The Front Wiper Switch is part of the Multi-function Switch and is integral to the Steering Column Control Module (SCCM). The SCCM sends Front Wiper Switch commands through the LIN Bus to the Body Control Module (BCM).
Cause and Solution
WIPER ON OFF RELAY CONTROL CIRCUIT SHORTED TO GROUNDWIPER ON OFF RELAYBODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)
Circuit Short To Ground
This sub type is used for failures, where the control module measures ground (battery negative) potential for greater than a specified time period or when some other value is expected.
