Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Circuit Range Performance (Includes Hybrid Models)

Description

HYBRID MODELS CAUTION: Hybrid systems use very high-voltage battery systems. Before starting any service work involving the battery system, turn the ignition switch OFF and then remove the service plug from pocket in the trunk. After removing the service plug, wait 10 minutes before touching any of the high-voltage connectors and terminals. NOTE: If DTC P0116 is displayed with P0117 or P0118, first perform the trouble diagnosis for DTC P0117, P0118. Engine coolant temperature signal from engine coolant temperature sensor does not fluctuate, even when some time has passed after starting the engine with pre-warming up condition.
