EGR Pintle Position Sensor Low Input
Description
Engine started, engine running, system voltage from 11-16v, and the PCM detected the EGR pintle position sensor indicated less than 0.11v (Scan Tool reads 5 counts) for 10 seconds during the test.
Cause and Solution
EGR Linear valve control circuit is shorted to groundEGR Linear valve is stuck in a closed position (check for icing)EGR Linear valve is damaged or has failedPCM has failed
