Description
The trailer module (TRM) compares the battery voltage to the trailer module (TRM) with the battery voltage to the central electronic module (CEM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the battery voltage to the central electronic module (CEM) is significantly higher than the battery voltage to the trailer module (TRM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The system voltage differs by more than 2.0 V. Starting the control modules CAN communication.
Cause and Solution
Short-circuit to ground in the power supply cable.Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals.Damaged generator (GEN).Damaged battery.
