Description
Engine started, vehicle driven with the throttle open at a speed over 18-55 mph at light engine load for over 5 minutes, ECT Sensor more than 170 #186;F, and the PCM detected the O2 signal switched from 0.39v to 0.60v too few times in the Oxygen Sensor Monitor test
Cause and Solution
Base engine mechanical fault affecting more than one cylinderExhaust leak present in exhaust manifold or exhaust pipesO2 element fuel contamination or has deterioratedO2 signal circuit or ground circuit has high resistance
