Description

The Closing velocity module (CVM) compares its configuration ID with the ID that the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) transmits. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The control modules configuration ID differs from the ID that the Supplemental Restraint System Module (SRS) transmits. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts when: The voltage supply to the control module is 9-16 V. The signal configuration is sent to the control module. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
