W Phase Motor Current Sensor Circuit High Voltage (HYBRID MODELS)
Description
With the ignition ON and the MCM supply-power voltage a minimum of 9.0 V, the MCM input voltage from the W phase motor current sensor is 4.848 V or more for at least 0.5 seconds. (IMA system indicator is ON) WARNING: The IMA system uses high voltage (144 V), before servicing turn OFF the battery module switch.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the W phase motor current sensor and the MCM Open circuit between the W phase motor current sensor and the MCM Faulty W phase motor current sensor MCM may need to be updated with the latest software Faulty MCM
