Generator Signal Range Performance
Description
Engine started, the Voltage Telltale lamp is on, or less than 1000 rpm for the low duty cycle test, or more than 1000 rpm for high duty cycle test, and the PCM detected the L terminal voltage was low with the Generator commanded on, or the F terminal PWM was less than 5% with the engine speed below 2500 rpm for 30 seconds. Note: Refer to the Freeze Frame Records for additional information.
Cause and Solution
Generator L terminal circuit is open, shorted to ground or B+Generator F terminal circuit is open, shorted to ground or B+PCM has failed
