Motor Power Inverter (MPI) Module Internal Circuit Malfunction
Description
With the ignition ON and the MCM power-supply voltage a minimum of 7.5 V, the MCM receives the nonvolatile memory failure, the internal temperature sensor failure, or the IGBT gate over voltage failure for at least 0.5 second. (IMA system indicator is ON) WARNING: The IMA system uses high voltage (144 V), before servicing turn OFF the battery module switch.
