Description
This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may set when the module detects that the sensor input current is out of range. This fault will go from active to stored status upon the open fault clearing for 5 seconds.
Cause and Solution
Seat Harness Improperly Routed
Seat Harness Wires Chafed, Pierced, Pinched, Partially Broken
Seat Harness Connector Terminals Broken, Bent, Pushed Out, Spread, Corroded, Contaminated
Seat Position Sensor Data Circuit Open, Shorted Or High Resistance
Seat Position Sensor Voltage Circuit Open, Shorted Or High Resistance
Seat Track Position Sensor
Occupant Restraint Controller (Orc) Module
Circuit Current Out of Range
This sub type is used for failures, where the control module measures a current outside the expected range but not identified as too high or too low.
