External Temperature Sensor-Circuit Short To Ground
Description
The Body Control Module (BCM) detects a short to ground on the AAT Signal circuit, or the AAT Signal circuit is shorted to the Sensor Ground circuit, for greater than one second.
Cause and Solution
Circuit Short To Ground
This sub type is used for failures, where the control module measures ground (battery negative) potential for greater than a specified time period or when some other value is expected.
