Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With SRS Unit
Description
Poor communication between the gauge control module, and the SRS unit. NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A. If the HDS does not communicate with the SRS unit, the SRS indicator stay on, go to symptom troubleshooting for SRS indicator stay on, but no DTCs are stored.
Cause and Solution
Loose or poor connections between the gauge control module, and the SRS unit. Open circuit between the gauge control module, and the SRS unit Faulty SRS unit Faulty gauge control module
