Fuel Level Sensor. Signal Too High
Description
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DIM-02 is stored in the combined instrument panel if the combined instrument panel registers a fault in the signal cable from the fuel level sensor. The fuel gauge does not work.
Cause and Solution
Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cableOpen-circuit in the signal cable or in the ground leadContact resistance in the terminalsDefective fuel level sensor.
