Two Wheel Drive High Range (2HI) Indicator Circuit Malfunction
Description
Ignition ON. System voltage 9-18 V. Instrument panel lights not dimmed. Daylight running lights MUST be commanded ON.
Cause and Solution
The TCCM monitors the voltage on the 2WD HI indicator control circuit.The TCCM detects 3.4 V or greater on the 2WD HI indicator control circuit when the 2WD HI indicator is commanded ON.The TCCM detects 1.6 V or less for 1.5 seconds on the 2WD HI indicator control circuit when the 2WD HI indicator is commanded OFF.
