Power Seat Control Unit Lost Communication with MICU (MICU Message)
Description
Poor communication between the Power Seat Control Unit and the MICU. NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A. If DTCs B1055, B1057, B1157, B1159, B1255, B1355, B1955, B2155, B2156, and B2161 are also indicated, perform the MICU input test. If no additional codes are present. perform the Power Seat Control Unit input test.
Cause and Solution
Loose or poor connection between the Power Seat Control Unit and the MICU
Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse relay box
Open circuit between the Power Seat Control Unit and the MICU
Poor ground
Faulty Power Seat Control Unit
