Description
This DTC sets when the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor signal average jumps above a minimum allowable calibrated parameter.
Cause and Solution
Contamination internal to the FTP sensor connectorFTP circuit openFTP circuit short to voltageVREF circuit short to voltageSIGRTN circuit openDamaged FTP sensor
Diagnosis:
An FTP voltage PID reading greater than 4.85 volts with the ignition ON, engine OFF or with the ignition ON, engine running, indicates a concern is present.
