DTC P0653 GMC

Battery Voltage. Algorithm Based Failures. Signal Compare Failure

Battery Voltage. Algorithm Based Failures. Signal Compare Failure

Description

The combustion preheater module (CPM) checks its own system voltage by comparing the direct voltage with the system voltage in the central electronic module (CEM). Information about system voltage in the central electronic module (CEM) is transmitted via CAN to the combustion preheater module (CPM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: The system voltages differ too much. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Heater started. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
