ECT Sensor Circuit Intermittent High Input
Description
Engine runtime over 10 seconds, system voltage over 10.0v, and the PCM detected an intermittent high voltage condition (Scan Tool reads below -31ºF) on the ECT sensor signal circuit for 1 second out of a 20 second period during the CCM test.
Cause and Solution
ECT sensor signal circuit is open between the sensor and PCMECT sensor ground circuit is open between sensor and PCMECT sensor has failed (possible intermittent open condition)PCM has failed
