Description

The Driver information module (DIM) is continuously supplied with necessary information from the Central electronic module (CEM). The Driver information module (DIM) checks the quality of the information that comes from the Central electronic module (CEM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: Transmitting control module gives a lower quality level on the signal than the Driver information module (DIM) can accept. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Control module supplied with power. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
