Description
The Parking Assistance Module (PAM) checks internal components in the parking sensor, outer, left rear. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: Internal components do not work. Incorrect value runs longer than 1 second. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Ignition switch position II. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
Cause and Solution
Open-circuit in the ground lead.Contact resistance or oxidation in the terminals.Damaged parking sensor.
