Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit Lost Communication with Gauge Control Module (A T Message)
Description
Poor communication between the Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module. Poor communication between the Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module. NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A. If DTCs B1061, B1359, B1808, and B1956 are also indicated, perform the Gauge Control Module input test. If no codes are present, perform the Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit input test.
Cause and Solution
Loose or poor connections between the Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit and the Gauge Control Module
Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse relay box
Open or Short condition
Poor ground
Faulty Gauge Control Module
