Rear MICU Lost Communication with MICU (MICU Message)
Description
Poor communication between the Rear Fuse Relay Box and the MICU. NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A. If DTCs B1055, B1056, B1057, B1157, B1159, B1180, B1255, B1955, B2155, B2156, and or B2161 are indicated, perform the MICU input test. If no codes are present, perform the rear MICU input test.
Cause and Solution
Loose or poor connections between the Rear Fuse Relay Box and the MICU
Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse relay box
Open or Short Condition between the Rear Fuse Relay Box and the MICU
Faulty MICU Under-Dash Fuse Relay Box.
