Description

The power windows are provided with Hall sensors that measure the rotation speed for each power window and thus determines window position. If a Hall sensor is not functioning in one of the window lift mechanisms, the AUTO-UP or AUTO-DOWN function for that window is not available. The Driver Passenger door module (DDM PDM) supplies the Hall sensor in each window mechanism with power. The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: Signal too low from the output. The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Control module supplied with power. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
