Lost Communication With Digital Audio Control Module (SDARS)
Description
Sets when the Audio Control Module (ACM) status message is not received by the FDIM for greater than 5 seconds. When this message is missing, the FDIM will not display audio information. This DTC can be set when the vehicle experiences a low battery voltage condition, which should also set DTC B1318 in at least one module. The low battery voltage condition must be corrected before an accurate diagnosis of a missing message can be made. If there are no symptoms present, the DTC can be ignored.
