Lost Communication With Throttle Actuator Control Module
Description
One of these 2 conditions must be met for at least 250 milliseconds: (1) No serial signals from the throttle actuator control module are detected. (2) The serial signals from the throttle actuator control module are abnormal. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the throttle body, the throttle actuator control module relay, the throttle actuator control module, and the PCM Open in the wire between the PCM and ground Open or Short circuit between the throttle actuator control module and the PCM PCM may need to be updated with the latest software Faulty PCM
