HO2S-11 (Bank 1 Sensor 1) Heater Circuit Malfunction
Description
Engine started; system voltage from 9-18v, and the PCM detected the HO2S-11 heater current was more than 1.25 amps for 20 seconds. The PCM controls the HO2S-11 heater low control circuit with a low side driver, and tests the current draw through the driver.
Cause and Solution
HO2S low side control circuit is shorted to system power (B+)HO2S low side control circuit driver is shorted inside the PCMHO2S heater has failed (it may be shorted internally)PCM has failed
