Power Liftgate Handle Switch Stuck
Description
When the handle switch is inactive, the voltage from the module to the switch will be 5.0 volts. When the switch is pressed, the voltage will be approximately 2.2 volts. This can be verified by using the scan tool and monitoring the Handle Switch states or voltage and pressing and releasing the liftgate handle.
Cause and Solution
CABLE LINKAGE BETWEEN HANDLE AND LATCH BINDING OR BENTLIFTGATE HANDLE SWITCH SENSE CIRCUIT FAULTY WIRINGLIFTGATE HANDLE SWITCHPOWER LIFTGATE MODULE (PLGM)
