Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With Adaptive Front Lighting Control Unit (AFS Message)
Description
Poor communication between the gauge control module and adaptive front lighting control unit. NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
Cause and Solution
Perform the adaptive front lighting control unit input test Perform the gauge control module input test Blown fuse Poor connections or loose terminals between the gauge control module and the adaptive front lighting control unit Faulty adaptive front lighting control unit Faulty gauge control module
