Description

Normal operation of the fuel delivery system allows the fuel level sensor side of the fuel tank (the side opposite of the fuel filler hose) to have less fuel than the side with the fuel pump assembly (side with the fuel filler hose). Sets when the IPC detects a low fuel condition on the fuel pump module side (active side) of the fuel tank before the fuel level sensor (passive side) indicates empty. DTC P1243:06 indicates a fuel transfer concern with the fuel transfer tube or the jet pump (part of the fuel pump module).
