ECT Sensor Signal Voltage Too Low Or Too High
Description
Ignition on; ECM detects the ECT Sensor signal is either below 0.12v (too low) or above 4.95v (too high).
Cause and Solution
Intermittent conditionECT Sensor signal circuit is open or is shorted to voltage (too high)ECT Sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground or to Sensor ground (too low)ECT Sensor ground circuit is open (too high)Boost Pressure IAT Sensor has failed
