ECT Sensor Circuit Low Temperature (Intermittent)
Description
Engine started, engine runtime over 4 minutes, and the PCM detected the ECT sensor indicated less than -31ºF for 2 seconds at any time during the CCM test.
Cause and Solution
ECT sensor signal circuit is open between the sensor and PCMECT sensor signal circuit is shorted to VREF (5v)ECT sensor is damaged or it has failed (it may be open)PCM has failed
