Description
The EPROM Checksum is incorrect. This test is performed by the GIB (Gearbox Interface Box), a system dedicated to low level control of the transmission control unit.
Cause and Solution
Short to battery Short to ground Open circuit CAN data bus wires have short circuited to each other ECU has failed BUS system failure Defective bus controller (EGS)
