Description

Poor communication between AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the navigation unit.

Cause and Solution

Check the vehicle battery condition
Open circuit in the wire(s) between AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the navigation unit
Short to body ground in the wire(s) between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the navigation unit
Update the AcuraLink control unit with the latest software
Faulty AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)
