Description

Poor communication between HandsFreeLink Control Unit and the AcuraLink Control Unit.

Cause and Solution

Check the vehicle battery condition
Open in the wire(s) between AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the HandsFreeLink control unit.
Short to body ground in the wire(s) between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the HandsFreeLink control unit
Short to power in the wire(s) between the AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver) and the HandsFreeLink control unit
Faulty AcuraLink control unit (XM receiver)
Update the AcuraLink control unit with the latest software
