FSM Lost Communication With Engine Control Module. General Failure Information. No Sub Type Information
Description
The control module is continually supplied with necessary information from the Engine control module (ECM) via CAN communication. The control module checks the communication with the Engine control module (ECM). The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that: No communication with the Engine control module (ECM). The control modules test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of: Engine running. Note! The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored when the conditions are met.
