IMA-CAN Malfunction Powertrain Control Module (PCM)-Motor Control Module (MCM)
Description
With the ignition switch ON for at least 3 seconds and the battery voltage is a minimum of 10.0 V, one of the following conditions must be met. Condition 1: The PCM does not receive any signals via the IMA-CAN lines for at least 1 second. Condition 2: The information sent from the MCM is abnormal at least 20 times.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the MCM and the PCM Open circuit between the PCM and the MCM Faulty MCM
