Climate Control Unit Lost Communication with Combination Switch Control Unit (WIPSW message)
Description
Poor communication between the Combination Switch Control Unit and the Climate Control Unit. If any of the following DTCs are indicated; B1958, B1063, or B1156, perform the wiper washer switch (Combination Switch Control Unit) input test. If no additional codes are present, perform the Climate Control Unit troubleshooting. NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in the B-CAN system diagnosis test mode A.
Cause and Solution
Loose wire or poor connection on the climate control unit connector
Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box
Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse relay box
