Cause and Solution

Perform the climate control self-diagnostic with the HDS or the climate control unit
Loose wires or poor connections on the passengers vent air temperature sensor circuit
Short to body ground in the wire between the climate control unit and the passengers vent air temperature sensor
Short circuit between the climate control unit and the passengers vent air temperature sensor
Faulty passengers vent air temperature sensor
