Cylinder 2 Fuel Injection Circuit Open Circuit
Description
Key on or engine running, fuses in the instrument panel and the E-box in the engine compartment must be functioning, and the ground connections between the engine ad the chassis must be well connected; and the ECM detected an unexpected voltage condition on the injector circuit. Wiring or fuel injector has a short circuit that is open.
Cause and Solution
Injector control circuit is open Injector power circuit (B+) is open Injector control circuit is shorted to chassis ground Injector is damaged or has failed ECM is not connected or has failed Fuel pump relay has failed Engine speed sensor has failed
