DTC P0107 Acura

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (PGM-FI System)

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (PGM-FI System)

Description

The MAP sensor outputs low signal voltage at high vacuum (throttle valve closed) and high signal voltage at low vacuum (throttle valve wide open). If a signal voltage from the MAP sensor is a set value or less, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a malfunction and a DTC is stored. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 2 seconds or more. The MAP sensor output voltage is 0.23 V or less for at least 2 seconds. DTC P0108 is not active. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.

Cause and Solution

Poor connections or loose terminals at the MAP sensor and the PCM
Short in the wire between the PCM and the MAP sensor
Open in the wire between the PCM and the MAP sensor
Faulty MAP sensor
