Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
Description
If the IAT sensor output voltage is excessively low, the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects a malfunction and a DTC is stored. The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 2 seconds or more. The IAT sensor output voltage is 0.08 V or less for at least 2 seconds. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the MAF sensor IAT sensor and the PCM
Short in the wire between the MAF sensor IAT sensor and the PCM
Faulty MAF sensor IAT sensor
PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
