Description
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) GLA-531 is stored if the control module registers that the courtesy lighting signal is greater than 1.5 V for 10 seconds when a door is open or when the car is unlocked using the remote control or key.
Cause and Solution
Short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable.Open-circuit in signal cable.Contact resistance in terminals.Internal fault in control module output
