Gauge Control Module Lost Communication With Drivers MPCS Unit (DOORSW Message)
Description
Poor communication the Gauge Control Module and MPCS unit. If DTCs B1014, B1015, B1064, B1065, B1613, B1614, and B1811 also indicated, perform the drivers MPCS input test NOTE: If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
Cause and Solution
Loose or poor connections between the Gauge Control Module and the drivers MPCS unit Perform the drivers MPCS unit input test Perform the Gauge Control Module input test Open or Short between the Gauge Control Module and the drivers MPCS Unit Blown fuse in the main under-hood fuse box Blown fuse in the under-dash fuse relay box Faulty Gauge Control Module Faulty MPCS Unit
