Rear Secondary Heated Oxygen Sensor (Secondary HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2) Circuit High Voltage
Description
The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 2 seconds or more. The rear secondary HO2S output voltage is 1.270 V or more for at least 5 seconds. After current is applied to the rear secondary HO2S heater, if the rear secondary HO2S output continues to exceed the upper limit used during feedback control, a malfunction is detected and a DTC is stored. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the secondary HO2S (Sensor 2) and the PCM
Open circuit between the PCM and the secondary HO2S (Sensor 2)
Faulty (Secondary HO2S (Bank 1, Sensor 2)
