Description
Engine speed, >550 RPM ECT, -7.5° C Time after engine start, >3.5 Sec. Number of checks 3 Time length for more than 1.5 Sec.
Cause and Solution
Fuel pump has failed
CPS circuit is open, shorted to ground or shorted to power
ECM has failed
Battery voltage below 11.5 volts
Position actuator circuit may short to B+ or Ground
Camshaft timing improperly set, or continuous oil flow to the VCT piston chamber
Camshaft advance mechanism (the VCT unit) is sticking or binding mechanicAlly
