Throttle Position (TP) Sensor B Circuit High Voltage
Description
The execution time is continuous and the duration time is 200 milliseconds or more. Ignition ON and DTCs P0222, P2101, P2118, P2135, P2176 are not active. The TP sensor B output voltage is 4.8 V or more for at least 200 milliseconds. If the signal from TP sensor B is more than a fixed value for a set time, the PCM detects a TP sensor B malfunction and stores a DTC. NOTE: Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot.
Cause and Solution
Poor connections or loose terminals at the throttle body and the PCM
Open or Short between the throttle body and the PCM
PCM may need to be updated with the latest software
Faulty throttle body
